What’s going on, Angelina? You said it was important. Is Kai okay?

Angelina:
He’s fine. He’s with my sister right now. But we need to talk… about something serious. Something I should’ve told you a long time ago.

Anthony:
You’re scaring me. Just tell me—what is this about?

Angelina: (picks up the envelope and hands it to him)
This. It’s a new DNA test. I had Kai retested.

Anthony: (brows furrowed)
Retested? I thought we did this years ago. I thought that was settled. I’m his father… right?

Angelina:

Anthony: (staggered, sits down hard)

Angelina:
He’s not someone else’s. He’s yours in every way that counts. I swear, Anthony, I didn’t know for sure. I didn’t lie to hurt you—I lied to protect what we had. I was scared I’d lose you.

Angelina:
